Who they are: Your neighbors are those who live around you! :) While they may not all be experts, chances are that at least one of them could help you out by sharing what's worked for them.
Contact Info for individual neighbors: We encourage you to introduce yourself to your neighbors! Share your contact information with them, and ask for theirs. Many a person has been thankful for their neighbor's text that their garage door was left open, or that they've had a package on their doorstep for hours that may look tempting to a passerby.
You may also be able to find an individual neighbor's contact info in the portal's directory, if they've shared it there: https://portal.willismg.com/Homeowner_v2/Directory though many neighbors chose to not share their contact info there. (The setting about whether or not to share it is in the portal under "My Contact Info.")
Contact Info for neighborhood-wide email list: If you'd like to send an email to our full neighborhood email list, email lamesaneighbors@googlegroups.com. Do note that this is not an official HOA email list, and board members do not guarantee answers to your questions posted here.
Do NOT email the list with:
x complaints that should be directed to the management company (we're just your neighbors on the list, we can't fix those problems)
x notifications about water leaks or emergencies - that needs immediate attention, and as the FAQ says, call (don't email) FSR so it gets immediate attention
x numerous emails on the same topic - instead, try to condense to as few as possible
x questions that can be easily answered by Googling it
Good topics about which to email the list:
A question about the neighborhood (AFTER you've first read the emails from FSR, and Googled it)
Giving away free items or looking for an item to borrow
Asking for recommendations for contractors (AFTER checking the archives for our email list, and the recommendations on the info section of this website)
Sharing advice about an issue you had and how you remedied it
Asking for remodeling advice particular to our units or this area (See "Maps" page for info on floor plans)
How to join: You can only email the "La Mesa Neighbors" Google group if you're a members of the list (to avoid spammers). See #3 on this page with more info about the LaMesaNeighbors Google Group, and info on how to become a member.
Who they are: Cline Agency is the insurance provider for the HOA. You can contact them if you have questions about the HOA insurance policy. Our management company and Board of Directors are careful not to give any information about insurance coverage, as they are not experts and don't want to misspeak, for legal reasons.
